THE dolls from 70s supergroup, Guys & Dolls are hoping that their latest single will be a big hit for a new charity.

The girls were at the Pleasure Beach on Tuesday to film the video for their latest single, I Believe It's A Miracle and teach visitors their new dance, The Miracle.

All royalties will benefit the Blackpool charity which hopes to set up a respite centre for parents of autistic children.

Spectrum was set up by some of the 150 families in Blackpool who have an autistic child. One parent, Dorothy Knowles, said: "Looking after an autistic child is a 24 hours a day, seven days a week job.

"It can be particularly difficult for parents who have other children. The autistic child cannot go to a crowded swimming pool, for example, so the other children miss out. There is no respite centre available for us -- a respite centre with staff who are qualified for looking after autistic children would be a great help.

"We also want to raise awareness, the increase in autism is unbelievable and we want people to know more about it."

Everyone who took part in the shoot, including The Graham Fenton Experience, who produced the video and the Alive dancers, gave their time up for free.

The Dolls have been teaching the new dance routine at the Pleasure Beach and say it is already proving to be a big summer favourite!
