NIGHTCLUB staff will be wearing red next weekend to raise money for children with heart problems.
Staff at Darwen's Bar Java and Privilege Nightclub will sport the colour in support of British Heart Week.
Owner Reg Gorton will also be donating funds to help children with congenital heart defects.
The condition, which affects more than 5,000 babies each year in the UK, is the theme of the charity's major annual week to raise funds.
The nightspots are urging their customers to join in the theme and make a small donation to the charity next Friday night.
Julia Bracewell, Bar Java manager, said: "We are asking our customers to make a special effort and dress in red for the night.
"You could wear anything from red socks to red lipstick but there will be a prize for the person dressed in the most red items.
The night will be great fun and we hope to raise a lot of money for a really good cause."
