SHOWBIZ husband and wife team Brian and Maxine Warner scored a big hit when they organised the entertainment for the Champions League final.
For the pair provided 40 acts to perform in front of distinguished guests such as Phil Collins, Richard Branson, Gerrard Houllier, Atomic Kitten, Peter Shmeicel and the president of UEFA, Lennart Johansson.
Many people know the Warners, from Prestwich, for their popular band The Lemon Tree but five years ago they branched out and formed their own entertainment agency, Lemon Tree Entertainment.
Last November they received a call from Switzerland asking them to put forward a proposal for one of their most demanding contracts to date: to provide the entertainment for the UEFA event at Manchester United Football Club.
Brian Warner said: "Several top entertainment agencies from around the UK were approached by UEFA and we feel very proud that our agency won the contract. It was six months of very, very hard work but well worth it."
