A PUZZLED family have urged the unknown visitor tending their relatives' grave at Bury Cemetery to get in touch.
Sprays of flowers and ornamental stones were mysteriously placed on the plot in March, while last month the headstone was moved without the family's permission.
The grave of Henry and May Yates and their infant grandsons Robert Dominic and Liam David is regularly visited by the couple's six children, who say they have no idea who has been attending the plot.
One sibling, Sandra Todd (53), of Westcombe Drive, said: "On Mother's Day we found that someone had placed four sprays of flowers and a bunch of red roses at the grave.
"There were little white stones laid on the ground where we had plants growing and we had no idea about who was doing it."
Two weeks ago the headstone was moved and slightly damaged, but cemetery staff say they have no idea who was responsible.
Sandra said: "It has left us all very puzzled and we want to talk to whoever it is about what they are doing and why the stone has been moved."
"It seems strange that someone has been doing these things when there is no apparent link between the grave and anyone else."
"We are not angry, we just want to get to the bottom of it."
Anyone wishing to speak with the family can do so by contacting Sandra on 761 1679.
