ARMED criminals who fired at a car in a drive-by shooting in Burnley may have returned to inspect the damage caused.
Detectives said after a Mitsubishi car parked in Carlton Road was shot at on Saturday at 6.20pm a suspect car was seen driving around nearby streets.
DS Steve Mounsey of Burnley CID, who is leading the investigation, said: "The car was seen turning up Albion Street and Queensbury Road and did a loop on to Piccadilly Road, back up Albion Street on to Palatine Square."
No one was injured and the only damage was a small hole in the door of the Mitsubishi car.
The vehicle then sped off away from Manchester Road.
It is believed there were at least two white, male occupants, possibly four.
