WALKING enthusiasts in Burnley are urged to participate in a series of adventure trails in a bid to raise funds for Galloway's Society for the Blind.
The trails go across Morecambe Bay, led by Cedric Robinson across a panoramic eight mile walk to raise funds to support the Penwortham society.
Both walks start from the picturesque promenade at Arnside, near Carnforth, taking in lakeland views, before finishing at Kents Bank, near Grange, three hours later.
There will be two walks, on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22.
Kevin Lonergan, Walk Organiser for Galloway's, said: "We are encouraging as many people as possible to take part. Individuals as well as groups, young and old people are needed to make this our best-ever walk."
Places on the walks are limited, so people are encouraged to book as soon as possible. For further information and sponsor forms contact Thelma at Galloway's on 01772 753704.
