TEACHERS and faith leaders in Pendle will attend a conference this month on personal, social and health education organised by the Building Bridges Project.
It will take place on Friday, June 20, at Northern Technologies, in Nelson, between 9.30am and 3.15pm.
The conference will discuss social integration for primary school children from an inter-faith perspective.
Dr Malik, chairman of Building Bridges, said: "Our teams at Building Bridges have been working in around half of the schools in Pendle with the message that it is our diversity which makes the world such a wonderful place to live in.
"We start with the young for it is their attitudes that will form the Britain of tomorrow, a Britain that is part of a world rapidly growing smaller. Hopefully a world that is better able to live with itself in peace. Our children hold the key to this."
