A bunch of India's meanest, a stash of diamonds and some of the world's top catwalk queens make up this lavish gangster movie set to hit the screens this summer.
Amitabh takes on the role of Bade Baba and is supported strongly by Gulshan Grover (Medium Baba) and Jackie Shroff (Chotte Baba). All three are in no mood to talk and are on the hunt for some smuggled diamonds, which go missing after an apparant accident at a prestigious fashion show.
Big B wants the diamonds back at any cost and so the cat and mouse game begins.
The film stars some of India's most highly paid models, Madhu Sapre, Katrina Kaif and Sheila Bardez who play...well...models. Looks are always deceptive and it seems the roughest toughest boys in town have got their work cut out when they meet beautiful these women.
Boom is being billed as the must-see crossover film of 2003. It features stunning outfits by India's top designers and some good performances by the bad boys of Bollywood....none more so than Sanjay Dutt who doesn't have to try hard to look like a gangster.
In the mould of many Hollywood gangster movies the plot is fast paced with a lot of twists and turns where everyone is a villain trying to outwit each other.
The soundtrack by Xlantic Music Group features original music by Mercury Award winning artist Talvin Singh, Sandeep Chowta and Rishi Rich.
