SOME of the Fylde's leading citizens were rounded up and thrown into the cells this week -- but there's no reason to celebrate just yet!
The celebs and dignitaries were dragged to Lytham police station for a wide range of heinous crimes, but were finally released after pledging bail money to Macmillan Cancer Relief's Windmill Appeal and the St John's Development Fund.
"The Jail'n'Bail event indicates yet again how much local people have done to benefit their community," said Elaine Fossett of Macmillan: "and our jail birds have already proved themselves to be some of our champion fund-raisers. We appreciate their generosity and the efforts they are making to raise funds for two such worthy causes."
The Rev Sandra Purvis of St John's church, added: "I would like to thank everyone who has taken part in this event.
"It is the second time the two charities have worked together and we are sure that everyone who has sponsored the individuals who have been arrested and also the police for working in their own time to make this event a success."
