THE reopening of Ramsbottom Baths has hit a setback because of improvement works.
The baths were due to re-open earlier this week, but are now scheduled to open on Saturday, June 14.
The centre will have a new name -- Ramsbottom Pool and Fitness Centre, and to introduce and involve people in the opening of the centre, an open weekend will take place where people can try out the new facilities for free. The event will be held the weekend of Saturday, June 14 from 8am-4pm and Sunday 8am-4pm.
The pool will close at noon on Sunday.
Visitors will be able to take part in free mini inductions to the gym, free adult swims and free mini workouts in the gym.
A family pool splash session with inflatables is available on Saturday from 3pm-4pm. The new creche facilities will be open for visitors to view during the weekend.
The first 50 people to take out an Advantage Card, during the weekend will pay no joining fee, saving £23.50.
The card can be used in any leisure centre across the Bury Metro Council area and at a monthly cost of £25 allows unlimited use of the swimming pools and gym.
