Staff and students celebrated City College Manchester's first Cultural Diversity Day this spring. The event at Fielden Campus, West Didsbury, which proved to be a huge success with the foyer of Fielden Campus transformed into an exhibition of colour and information about different cultures and countries from around the world from Afghanistan to Norway. Students made posters relating to their cultural backgrounds, including cultural events, significant people and buildings. People were also encouraged to wear their national dress.
Mehran Masbahi, Counselling Service said, "The day was a huge success. Everyone who took part enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about other cultures whilst celebrating their own. We are looking forward to celebrating the day at all College sites next year!"
