Maybe it was the change of temperature but one team certainly feeling the heat this month were Galligreaves.
Men sent off, scuffles off the pitch - it was like something out of Dream team. In the game of month they went down 4-2 to Harvey and Thompson. Paul Egan and Dennis Hill were again in top form for H and T.
Regarding non-football related action on the pitch the league is again warning clubs they must make sure their players behave.
Meanwhile, Whalley Range are back. Well, it's Baba Zaman's with a classic name really, but the men in green are still a formidable outfit.
Maximum points so far but they really had to fight against Shad A to secure a 3-1 win.
Elsewhere it was a Brookhouse showdown in the fourth divsion when Brazian United (pictured left) and Farlys FC (pictured far left) met. Despite some good early football from Brazian it was Farlys who took the lead. The game ended 4-3 but should have ended 13-12 with the amount of chances missed by both sides.
The presentations for the winter league will take place sometime in the coming weeks. So wait for that late night phone call from Mr Esat.
