ALL Saint's with John the Baptist Church in Padiham crowned its new Junior Church Queen at the weekend.

Sara Harrison, of The Chase, Burnley, will spend the next year helping out with raising church funds and appearing at special functions.

Twelve-year-old Sara, pictured with her mum Helen, was crowned on Sunday by last year's Queen, Courtney Berry.

Tyler Bell was Sara's page boy and attendants were Jamie Bell, Melissa Simmons, Victoria Hepworth and Olivia Stockwell.

Helen said: "We're all very proud of her. She's been going to the church all her life and was christened there so this is such an honour."
