PUPILS at Barrow Primary School in Ribble Valley have won a certificate of achievement from the Green Partnership for planting 15 trees, including weeping willow and cherry blossom, in their school grounds.
The partnership, comprising United Utilities, Lancashire County Council and the borough councils of Ribble Valley, Pendle, Chorley and South Ribble, supports environmental schemes by providing professional advice and grants of up to £400 to help people improve the environment.
