A WHOLE new pub experience is set to open in East Lancs following £750,000 investment and the creation of 20 jobs.
The Boddington Arms on Myerscough Road, near Balderstone, is due to re-open its doors next week and new managers Chris and Barbara Monaghan are recruiting new staff.
The pub and restaurant will feature table service for food and drinks and with its modern interior, Chris said it should take the region by storm.
Chris, who is originally from Carlisle but is coming to Blackburn from Chorley, said: "It's a whole new modern concept for the area."
And Barbara said training will be important for staff.
She said: "Training is really important and we're looking forward to putting the new team through a vigorous, but fun, training programme.
"There will also be fantastic opportunities to gain a National Vocational Qualification, the first step towards a career in business or, for chefs, the chance to be put through our Chef's Guild, believed to be the most comprehensive assessment, development and accreditation package in the restaurant industry."
People interested in applying for jobs should call managers Chris or Barbara Monaghan on 0870 700 1330.
