DARWEN children will be putting their best foot forward to raise money for Barnardo's children's charity.
St Cuthbert's toddlers have joined in the nationwide 'Foresters Big Toddle' to help the charity raise more than £700,000 to be used for disadvantaged children under the age of five within their communities.
In two week's time, ten tots will tackle a half-mile course at the Lynwood Avenue school with their parents or carers.
The fun takes place on Thursday, June 26 starting at 2pm.
The Big Toddle is now in its seventh year and continues to be one of the biggest event for youngsters in the country.
The school will also hold a table-top sale for 'good as new' children's equipment, toys and clothes on Saturday, June 28 from 10am to noon.
Ann Edwards, teacher and organiser, said: "We are very much looking forward to both events and we are more than happy to raise money for such an important charity."
Tables for the sale cost £5 and can be booked by calling 01254 702068.
