GREATER Manchester Ambulance Service is delighted that Wigan's Mayor Councillor Wilf Brogan, has pledged to raise funds to buy a life saving emergency rapid response car for the borough.
The new vehicle will work alongside the existing rapid response vehicle car that operates 12 hours
a day, seven days a week providing additional cover throughout the borough.
Cllr Brogan said: "I'm sure the traditional generosity of the people of the Borough will make the appeal a big success."
