PENDLE Council's park ranger service has organised two short guided walks tomorrow and on Sunday that will explore some of the most tranquil parts of Pendle's countryside.
The first will begin at 1pm on tomorrow, from the Brunswick Street entrance to Walverden Park, Nelson, and the second will take place on Sunday from Victoria Park, along the riverbank known as Pendle Water to Barrowford Park.
People are asked to meet at the Victoria Park Pavilion in Nelson, at 1pm
Karen Hutchinson, one of the park rangers said: "I hope that plenty of people will turn out and that they will have an enjoyable afternoon exploring some of the beauty of Pendle's countryside."
The walks will each last up to two hours and strong footwear is recommended.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and dogs are welcome but they must be kept on a lead at all times.
