WYRE Home Organ Society meets at Thornton Sports and Social Club, Holly Road (off Trunnah Road) on Tuesday (June 17). This month's guest organist will be Dirkjan Ranzijn.

A SPRING coffee morning will be held at Crossacres Home, Highbury Road this Saturday (June14), 10am-noon. Stalls and attractions include raffle, tombola, bric-a-brac, cakes, flowers, crafts and toys. Proceeds will be used for projects to benefit residents.
BLACKPOOL
CATS PAWS Sanctuary is holding a first anniversary open day this Sunday, (June15), 11am-3pm, at its School Road site (just east of Midgeland Road junction).
Lots of fun is promised including a bouncy castle and face painting for kiddies, tasty refreshments, a barbecue, and assorted stalls with home-made cakes, plants, books, soft toys and more. Please bring a tin of cat food or box of biscuits to gain admission.
BISPHAM
AN ORGAN concert given by Peter Lyon, Arthur Lingings, Linda Carrington and Geoffrey Fairbrother will take place at Bispham Parish Church, All Hallows Road on Wednesday, June 25 at 7.30pm.

FANCY a spot of acting or stage management? St Bernadette's Players is holding an open evening (with cheese and wine) tonight (Thursday), (June12) at St Bernadette's Church Hall, All Hallows Road, whether you're interested in acting, scenery painting and construction, model making, props, stage management, or other roles.
An archive of the group's past 26 years will also be on display.
STAINING
A CHINA painting group meets every Monday, 10am-2pm, at Staining New Village Hall. All are welcome to this mixed ability class with a friendly atmosphere. First three weeks free for newcomers.
