TO create a wildlife meadow in Blackburn's Queen's Park area where vandals assisted in the demolition of the houses previously there sounds very nice indeed (LET, June 9).
But I foresee the vandals again returning to spoil this project and deem it a waste of effort and money.
For that is what happened not so far away at the Arran Trail which is also a wildlife area and a haven for breeding birds.
But newly-erected fences were all vandalised, footpaths were broken up and overgrown.
I wish Twin Valley Home's project good luck, but they could end up very dismayed as this is not the area for peaceful wildlife havens.
