IN response to the article headlined "Join in and help bust grot spots" (LET, May 22), an area directly next to my house is constantly being used as a rubbish tip.
On a number of occasions, I have found various items just dumped there, including household rubbish, cans and gardening material such as soil and plants.
My family and I find this very distressing as do our neighbours who use this area as an access to the rear of their properties and frequently have to clear before they can gain access with their vehicles.
There have recently been some improvements made to the land next to my house. Unfortunately, this seems to be encouraging young people to use it as a place to "hang out" bringing with them their rubbish.
I would, therefore, be grateful if you could include this area on your list of target areas which needs attention.
