ONE of the biggest events on Colne's calendar is coming to town this weekend.
And the buzz is already in the air as people get ready for the massive one-day event.
The annual gala is being held on Holt House playing fields on Saturday, which organisers are promising will be packed with fun when circus clown Gerry Cottle Jnr and his comedy car will star as one of the main attractions.
Cowbody skills will be on display with entertainment by cheerleader, majorettes and line dancers from St Michael and All Angels' Primary School, Foulridge.
Pendle Community Network is funding part of the cost of the day with local businesses also backing the popular event.
Any profits made on the day are to be donated to Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle. The usual fair featuring a number of rides is to open on the Friday.
