LEIGH Miner's Rangers Under 12's were triumphant in the North West Counties Plate final at Robin Park Wigan on Sunday.
They faced tough opposition in West Bank. Both defences were on top form and the score at half time was locked at 0-0.
Midway through the second half Doyle scooted over for a try to break the deadlock. The tension was intense in the final stages, but the Rangers held strong to win a heart-stopping match by 4-0 and claim the trophy.
