THE promenade becomes the pram-enade on August 10 as fund-raisers take part in a wacky charity spectacle.
Blackpool Palatine Rotary Club is organising a fancy dress pram push along the promenade, which will be accompanied by an RAF flying display, marking 100 years of powered flight.
"This will be a great day for people to have some fun, as well as raise money," said club president, John Ormston (pictured in pram): "A pram can be anything on wheels -- as long as it's safe, decorated as crazily as people want. There'll be prizes for entries that impress the judges the most."
The pram push takes a course of approximately two miles, from Middle Walk to near Central Pier and back. For more details on entry and information about the big race, ring John Ormston on 07710 127051.
