YOUNG ballet dancers Aimee McGuire and Ross McCaw stole the show at an annual dance festival.
The pair, who are both eight years old and have been dancing together since they were four at Sue McCaw's School of Dance, Haslingden, performed a dance which they had never done before and won the prestigious Pas De Deux competition.
Aimee's mum, Lindsay McGuire, who works at her school Holy Trinity, Booth Road, Stacksteads, said: "They were so pleased to have won. Their little faces lit up when they found out.
"It was a big achievement for them especially as it was the first time they had ever performed it because they weren't expecting to win."
