TWO Fylde piano teachers are hoping to strike the right chord with a fund-raising concert for the Macmillan Windmill Appeal on Saturday
The concert, organised by Fylde musicians, Ruth Bridge (pictured right) and Belinda Jenkins (left), will see 30 of their talented students, aged six to 19, scaling the heights to raise funds for the charity.
The event, in Rossall Big School Hall, starts at 2pm and is open to everyone. Tickets are priced £6 for adults and £3 for children, to include strawberries and cream. There will also be a raffle on the day.
The concert, which will be the first of many arranged by the pair, features piano music ranging from classical to jazz.
The event is called Music for Midsummer's Day and tickets are available by calling Ruth on (01253) 821122.
