NOWHERE in his statement to the House of Commons on June 9 about the prospects for Britain join the euro did Chancellor Gordon Brown say where anything would cost us less and not more.
People with £100,000-plus incomes will have no problems. But pensioners, the low paid and people north of Watford, will be still poorer under the proposed "communist" ideal of a federal Europe.
