CHURCH fundraisers realised £700 for a national children's charity through a series of street collections in Darwen.
Pub-goers and shoppers gave towards essential funds for the 98,000 vulnerable children and young people the NCH charity aims to help.
Nora Smith, head of community fundraising for Darwen Churches Partnership, said: "We would like to extend our thanks to the individuals who gave up their time to collect and to the people whose donations contributed towards this total.
Volunteers visited pubs and clubs and carried out a street collection.
