AFTER 25 years of Blackburn's Gilbert and Sullivan Society giving its annual show outside Blackburn, it is finally coming home.
The 2004 production The Sorcerer will be performed at the Thwaites Empire Theatre, instead of the Civic Theatre, Oswaldtwistle.
The first sing-through for the production will take place on July 1, at 7.30pm in the Capita Building (behind the Thwaites Theatre).
Anyone interested is invited to come along. Hopefuls do not need to know the piece or be able to read music. They just need to be prepared for six months of fun and hard work while the society prepares its annual show.
Contact the secretary on (01254) 675590, or just show up on the night.
