REGARDING Blackburn Transport's decision to cancel its coach holidays, (LET, June 12), I and my granddaughter have been on many of their trips and always thoroughly enjoyed them.
I was shocked that they were portrayed as being mainly for pensioners, for although I am 68 my granddaughter is only 17.
I found these trips suitable, due to the varied age range of passengers and have never had any complaints from my granddaughter.
The coaches are comfortable and clean and I can't remember the last trip I went on that wasn't full. I chose to go on them as they are value for money, pleasant and I do not have to worry about driving.
Perhaps Blackburn Transport should look at a bigger advertising campaign as I have only ever seen the trips advertised within the buses. I have been with other firms but have found them no comparison. It would be a shame if they are cancelled.
