TEENAGE daredevils enjoyed an action-packed day at Ramsbottom's Sk8-On.
The show took place at Bolton Road West play area for the second year running, with organiser Carole Crompton describing it as "a brilliant day".
Said Carole: "The turn-out for our skate event was even bigger than last year. It cost more than £3,000 to stage but it was worth every penny! We have a wealth of talent in young people."
Carole added: "Thanks go to everyone who has contributed to the staging of this event for young people. I could not have done it without the help and support of lots of other people, including my family.
"One lady handed over £5 at the event to help pay for it."
The event was sponsored by a number of local businesses and supported by individuals. They included Gascoigne Property Services, Isherwood Furniture Shop, Leisure Lakes, Pilkington's Bikes, Ramsbottom Rotary Club, Vibes Record Shop, Harpoon Louis, Ramsbottom and Tottington Area Board, Bury Council and Ramsbottom Sports Council.
