IT'S the big day tomorrow for Blackburn's bowling landlords and landladies as they hope to represent the town admirably in an annual competition.
Members of the Blackburn Licensed Victuallers' Association are taking on their counterparts from Blackpool and Lancaster at The Butler's Arms, Pleasington, in a bowling competition.
The LVA said the day promises to be very enjoyable -- and they are raring to win. The competition has become an annual event since it was first staged in 1985.
