AN evening of classical music topped off by a stunning fireworks display comes to Hoghton Tower tomorrow.
In aid of St Catherine's Hospice, Lostock Hall, the evening features music by the Northern Chamber Orchestra playing popular favourites such as Pomp and Circumstance.
The concert begins at 8pm but the gates will be open at 4.30pm to allow people to enjoy a picnic in the ground.
Hospice appeals manager John Nickson said: "It promises to be a fantastic day.
"The music is superb and the fireworks are truly spectacular - it's not to be missed.
Tickets, costing £16.50, are available from Hoghton Tower, The Guild Hall box office in Preston and by phoning the hospice on 01772 324540.
Tickets will also be available on the door on the night costing £18.50.
Proceeds go to the hospice and they are hoping to beat the £32,000 raised last year.
