MARCUS North returns to the Lancashire League on Sunday.
The former Colne professional will be appearing as sub for Lowerhouse when they host Rishton on Sunday.
After losing top run scoerer Ryan Harris to injury, Matt Hope's side have drafted in North hoping he can make a smilar ipact to hs last time int he league.
North finished fourth in the 2001 averages during his time at Colne, when he smashed 1,134 runs at an average of 66.71.
As well as an opening batsman, the Australian is also a spin bowler and is currently plying his trade in Newcastle.
Rishton will travel to Lowerhouse looking for their firts win of the season having lost all of their 10 games so far.
Haslingden are also continuing to bring in sub professionals but haven't had to look quite so far for Sunday's replacement.
Keith Semple, the paid man at Darwen, will be in the side for their tricky trip to champions Bacup, who are second.
Leaders Nelson will look to fend off Haslingden and Bacup further when they visit second from bottom Accrington.
Colne are at home to Enfield and, in another top seven clash, East Lancs, boosted by the news that they have a home draw for the Worsley Cup final with Rawtenstall, are at home to Burnley.
Todmorden's dealdy spin duo of Ibra Ali and Gyan Pandey, who took nine wickets against Accrington last week, will be flexing their fingers at home to Church.
