BLACKBURN'S coolest band are preparing to meet their heroes after the greatest rock 'n' rollers in the world told them: "Let's Spend the Night Together!"
The 'Burn will support the Rolling Stones in a special intimate gig in front of 2,000 fans in Paris on July 11.
And as well as meeting legends Mick Jagger and Keith Richards it is understood movie superstars Robert De Niro and Johnny Depp will be in the crowd.
It is a far cry from the humble beginnings of The 'Burn who would jam endlessly in their King Street rehearsal room in Blackburn dreaming of making it big.
The 'Burn, currently working on the follow-up to their debut album Sally O'Mattress, were spotted by The Rolling Stones agents when they played a festival in the Isle of Wight a week ago.
The five members, Danny Davidson, Graham Rogerson, Jason Place, Mick Spencer and Lee Walsh, are extremely excited at what will be their most high profile gig in their career with coverage shown on MTV and in the world's music press.
The band has previously supported Oasis, Iggy Pop and Ian Brown.
Band manager Rachel Davidson said: "The band members are huge fans of the Rolling Stones so it's a dream come true for them.
"We very much intend to meet the Stones themselves. We hope to be sitting in Keith's dressing room with a bottle of Jack Daniels. It doesn't get much bigger than this.
"It's a really big deal and certainly a very big deal for Blackburn."
Rachel said it would be an added bonus to meet film stars Robert De Niro and Johnny Depp, who regularly take in the Stones's European gigs, as they are big fans of them too.
Rachel said The 'Burn's set will include a combination of new stuff from their second album and favourites from their debut album.
However, the band has ruled out playing any 'Stones covers.
The 'Burn played a packed-out Blackburn King George's Hall earlier this month and will entertain music lovers on the main stage at the Glastonbury festival today.
