I AM completely opposed to the government's proposal of giving health authorities the power to fluoridate our water supplies.
I'm totally against forced medication. I believe in the democratic right of the individual to have freedom of choice.
United Utilities work very hard to provide us with the best water available. It's a treat to drink now, so why pollute it with waste from man made chemicals?
Many countries introduced fluoride in their water supplies, but stopped it, after a couple of years. Why? Could it be it had adverse effects.
If this is so and people start suffering because of it, who will pick up the price tags if suing starts?
Some areas are already providing drinks containing fluoride -- schools, etc. But it's freedom of choice. With mass fluoridation, there's no control on how much or how little dosage each individual takes in a day.
