A 35 YEAR-OLD man molested a schoolgirl and committed a sex act in front of her, a jury was told.
Burnley Crown Court heard claims that handyman Camillus James Walsh, wanted to humiliate his victim and never thought she would tell.
The defendant, then also a part-time disc jockey, was rumbled after the girl told her teacher what had allegedly happened to her but Walsh told a jury he thought she was an attention seeker. Walsh, of Leyland Road, Burnley, denies indecency with a child and indecent assault, last September.
Walsh, at the time living with his three daughters, told the jury he was "gobsmacked," by the child's allegations and had been very hurt by them.
