TWO Blackburn with Darwen education projects marked their anniversaries by celebrating women's achievements over the past year.
Blackburn with Darwen's Women's Resource Centre and Blackburn College's First Step Project, which share premises in Regent Street, Blackburn, are seven and five years old respectively
Women who have taken courses at the joint centre over the last year created a Wall of Achievement to celebrate their successes, as well as being presented with certificates.
And pupils from local primary schools, Wensley Fold and St Michael & St John, designed the birthday cakes. The day-long celebration was held at Jan's Conference Centre, Audley.
