SHOPPERS in Blackburn had a "wizard" time celebrating the publication of the new Harry Potter book - The Order of the Phoenix.
The town centre hosted a day of family fun and magical events, including storytellers, street theatre, fire-eating and fortune-telling.
Film lookalikes provided street comedy and entertainment and there was a display of ancient medicines and potions, a creepy-crawlie roadshow and face-painting sessions.
Human sound machine Simon Entwistle, of Clitheroe, led a ghostwalk around Blackburn's most spooky spots.
The event, organised by the Blackburn Town Centre Marketing Initiative, was part of a series of Streetlife Summer Festivals being held in the town centre throughout the summer.
