A 15-year-old boy is still in a critical condition in hospital after his off-road motorbike collided with another bike at a disused colliery in Leigh.
The teenager, who has not been named, suffered head, leg and chest injuries following the accident at Bickershaw Colliery off Plank Lane.
The boy was riding a Honda trials bike when he crashed at about 1.45pm on Sunday.
He is currently being treated at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital in Pendlebury where his condition is critical but stable. A 16-year-old pillion passenger and the other rider were not injured.
