A DRUG-addicted woman went on a £159 shopping spree with a stolen credit card, a court was told.
Burnley magistrates heard how Nicola Jane Eltoft, 24, was subject to a conditional discharge at the time.
She was given a drug treatment and testing order by the bench.
Eltoft, of Lancaster Drive, Padiham, was given a 12 month order and told to pay £159.97 compensation, after admitting handling stolen goods and deception.
She asked for six offences to be considered. The court made no order for costs.
The court was told the credit card was stolen in a burglary and the theft was not reported straight away. She went on to get goods, mostly from Kwiksave at Padiham.
When she was arrested, she told police she had been given the card and had been told to get money for it.
Dylan Bradshaw, defending, said drug-taking was the root of Eltoft's difficulties.
