TOP British skaters will be visiting Darwen's Rhythm Skate Park tomorrow night.

The 'Warped' skate tour, which features some of Britain's up and coming inline skaters, will feature alongside graffiti artists and breakdancers who have promised to make the night one to remember.

At the beginning of the year, legendary BMX competitors, America's Dave Mirra and Ryan Nyquist, came to the park as part of a national tour.

John Bentley, park manager, said: "We are happy to be attracting people like this and big tours to Darwen and we want as many people as possible to come along to see what they've got."

The £45,000 park, which opened in October 2001, was named last year as one of the top ten parks in the country by the magazine BMX Rider.

Skaters will have the chance to get in the ring with some of the biggest names in the sport and spectators will also be welcome.
