ST JOHN'S Church have carried out several repairs, including replacing the floodlights and installing a light behind the organ pipes to denote that the light is on in the print room.
Childline will be the subject of the next project Sunday which will be held on August 31.
RAINBOWS have now broken up for the summer holidays.
Their last meeting was a Barbecue at Dyneley Stables.
They will meet again on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 August at 5.15pm.

WORSTHORNE Playground has now been refurbished by Burnley Borough Council and the official re-opening ceremony was held today.
A NEW lock for the allotment gate has been purchased and letters will be sent to all allotment holders informing them of the new procedures.

WORSTHORNE Art and Craft Fair 2003 is looking for volunteers to act as stewards.

POLICE Community Support Officer for the rural area, Dave Johnson, has become a popular figure around our area always ready to give support to people who feel vulnerable or angry about criminal or anti-social behaviour. Dave can be contacted on 472912.
WORSTHORNE Bellringers made a profit of £217 from the Sunday Lunch event which took place on June 1.
The ringers next fundraising event will take place in the garden of Higher Bottin cottage on Extwistle Road on Saturday July 26 from 1-5pm. Entry fee will be £2.
COUNCILLOR Brenda Lambert's Red Bag (recycling) evening was very popular with residents travelling from as far afield as Pike Hill to collect the bags.
The next evening for collection of red bags takes place on the last Wednesday of July between 5pm and 6.30pm in the Reading Rooms.
