PUPILS at a Darwen primary school helped raise £350 for children's hospitals across the county.
Ashleigh Primary School, on Ross Street, took part in sponsored educational games and courses to raise the money.
Catherine Hughes, fundraiser from the Children's Hospitals Appeals Trust, said: "We will receive the cheque on Friday and are so grateful to children, parents and staff for raising this money.
"It will go to children's hospitals and to poorly children in need of games and toys."
The pupils took curriculum-based games home with them and took part in a sponsored kitchen safety awareness course.
Mrs Hughes added: "The children did a great job and we are very proud of all of them."
