LANCASTER City will kick off at the Giant Axe this summer in a pre-season friendly against Welsh League outfit Cefn Druids .
The match - the first home tie for the Blues under new boss Phil Wilson - is scheduled for Saturday, July 26 at 3pm.
But before then Wilson will have two matches on the road to get his squad - certain to have new faces - firing ready for the introduction to the Giant Axe.
A tally of seven warm-up games have been arranged before City open the new Unibond League campaign with a testing home match against Vauxhall Motors on August 16.
The friendly schedule is - Sat July 19, Chorley (a); Tuesday, July 22 Mossley (a); Sat, July 26 Cefn Druids (h); Tuesday, July 29 Clitheroe (h); Sat, August 2 Halesowen Town (a); Tuesday, August 5 Kendal Town (a), Sat, August 9, Fleetwood Town (h)
