PARISHIONERS are pulling out the stops to repair a roof leak which has put a dampener on organ music at a village church.
Rain has been seeping through a hole in the roof at Mosley Common St John's At St John's - right above the organ - and vicar Julian Hartley says repairing the hole has been problematic.
"Before we can have the repairs done, we have to obtain a special form of planning permission that applies to all Church of England churches," he explained.
The Vicar hopes work will be completed before autumn. Donations to St John's would be welcome, he says, as repairs could cost £3000.
