DREAMS came true for a young Westlife fan who was plucked from the audience to sing live on stage with her idols.
Eight-year-old Chelsey Axon, from Hindley became the envy of all her friends after she was picked at random from thousands of Westlife fans to sing Queen of my heart at a concert in Manchester.
Chelsey's virtuoso performance will be screened on TV over Christmas -- and she will appear on the official Westlife video of the concert, which is also due to be released during the festive period.
Chelsey's proud mum, Sharon, told the LeighJournal: "I just couldn't believe she was picked out of all those people to sing with Westlife. She sang the chorus of Queen of my Heart, and couldn't stop smiling. I was so proud of her, I just couldn't stop crying!
"It made her year to see her favourite Westlife singer, Shane, so close. All her friends at school were so envious."
