WE mean business!
That's a new networking club which has been launched in Prestwich to provide a distinct social and business framework for company bosses across Bury and Rochdale.
More than 25 prospective members attended the inaugural meeting of Networking for Business North Manchester at the Village Hotel.
The club has been launched by Mark Greenwood and plans to convene every fortnight.
Speaking at the first meeting, Mr Greenwood said: "The main element of the club is business networking and the club will be run ultimately by the members themselves. It is their club and we will be looking for ideas, input and content.
"But we will keep the focus on the main goal, which is to generate business for each other. Networking for Business will provide opportunities and promotion and members will be able to exchange contacts, get involved with problem-solving and shared experiences and form strategic alliances."
Delegates will also be given access to recommended services and products and certain discount packages.
Future meetings will feature guest speakers and members will also be given the opportunity to participate.
Networking for Business North Manchester is aimed at small to medium-sized companies. The annual fee is £150 and there will be an additional £5 charge for each meeting.
The next meeting will be held at the Village Hotel, next Wednesday between 2pm and 4pm. New members welcome.
