MINISTER for Europe Dr Denis MacShane will underline potential investment opportunities triggered by an enlarged EU, when he visits Bury next week.
He will be one of three guest speakers at a Growing Business in a Growing Europe seminar to be staged at the Village Hotel next Thursday (July 10).
With ten more countries set to join the European Union, delegates will be told that this expansion will create one of the biggest consumer and industrial markets in the world, generating opportunities for North West businesses.
Other speakers at the seminar, to be held between 11am and 1pm, will be Andras Hirschler, trade commissioner with the Hungarian Embassy in London and Debbie Goldthorpe, commercial officer, Budapest. International trade visitors will also be on hand to give advice.
The event is being run by the Euro Info Centre North West, part of the Trade Partners International Trade team at Greater Merseyside Enterprise Ltd.
