IT'S a shame that Dunny didn't adopt Graeme Souness as an example of how a truly great midfielder should play.
It came across in the media like Dunny was sulking after the boss criticised his level of commitment.
Instead of sulking he should have done what Souness would have done in the same circumstances - grit his teeth and think 'I'll show the bugger!'
But he didn't. And if that is the measure of the player then he's not the man for Souness.
Souness will be disappointed to lose a lad with so much potential, but no doubt he'll have someone else up his sleeve like he did when he signed David Thompson.
